For managed service providers and IT teams working in Atera: the customer is identified while the phone rings and every call opens a ticket, with the 3CX AI summary when enabled.
Highlights
- Customer and contact identified while the phone rings
- An Atera ticket created for every call
- Atera search from the 3CX dialler
- 3CX AI transcript and summary added to the ticket when enabled
Atera combines remote monitoring and management (RMM) with professional services automation (PSA) for managed service providers and internal IT departments. Requests come in by email and through the portal, but many users still pick up the phone. Without an integration, the technician has to find the customer, then open and document the ticket by hand.
With our native template, the caller is looked up in Atera by phone number or email while the phone rings. The technician knows which customer and contact is calling before answering. When the call ends, a ticket is created for that customer. When 3CX AI analysis is enabled, the transcript, summary, sentiment and recording link are added to it, so the ticket is documented without the technician writing up the call.

Frequently asked questions
Can I create an Atera contact from 3CX?
No. The template finds existing contacts and creates tickets, but it does not create contacts.
Are 3CX chats logged?
No. The Atera integration covers phone calls.
What do I need to install it?
An Atera API key and 3CX V20 Pro or AI with CRM integration enabled. You upload the template to your 3CX, with nothing else to host.
