The right equipment, prepared for the people using it

A hardware purchase needs to fit your applications, your existing systems and the way your team works. Evolute helps you choose, source and deploy business equipment, with preparation and installation defined in the quote. We can also help track warranties and plan replacements as part of the agreed service.

From an individual workstation to an infrastructure refresh

Computers and workstations
Laptops and desktops selected for the person’s role, required applications, connectivity and support needs. We commonly work with business ranges from Dell, Lenovo and HP, while assessing the appropriate options for the project.
Servers and infrastructure
Server recommendations based on your applications, storage, backup needs and existing environment. We also examine whether a local system, cloud service or combination fits the requirement.
Networks and communications
Firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi equipment and compatible IP phones for 3CX deployments. Selection takes account of the network, locations, capacity and configuration the project requires.
Microsoft licensing
Microsoft licences through our CSP offering, coordinated with the equipment and services you need. One-time equipment costs and recurring licences are identified in the proposal.
Preparation and deployment
Updates, required applications, account configuration, encryption and protection settings where included. We can also plan data transfers and installation so the handover matches your operating needs.
Warranty and replacement planning
Inventory and warranty tracking, assistance with the warranty process, and replacement planning within the agreed scope. The equipment’s manufacturer warranty and the services Evolute provides are identified separately.

A clear path from requirements to handover

  1. Define the need

Review the role, applications, existing equipment, budget and timing.

  2. Prepare the quote

Identify equipment, licences, preparation, data transfer and installation, with availability and expected delivery information.

  3. Configure and deploy

Complete the agreed preparation and coordinate installation or handover.

  4. Plan the next stage

Document the relevant equipment and agree on warranty follow-up, old-device handling or ongoing management where needed.

When purchases become urgent

Without a purchasing and replacement plan, it’s difficult to anticipate setup work and future spending.

  • A growing mix of brands and models makes maintenance and employee support more complicated.

  • A new hire starts Monday and their computer is neither ordered nor set up.

  • Nobody knows when warranties expire or which devices are reaching end of life.

  • A device bought without a clear specification turns out to lack the warranty, security or management features the job needs.

  • An ageing server or firewall whose failure would bring the whole business to a halt.

  • Old devices pile up in a closet, with data still readable on them.

We help you choose equipment for the work it has to do, prepare it before handover and plan the next replacements.

Buy for the workload and plan for the lifecycle

We look beyond a processor name or advertised specification. Compatibility, memory, storage, connectivity, warranty options and management requirements all affect whether equipment fits the job. We can also assess existing equipment before recommending replacement: some projects call for a new device; others call for an upgrade, a configuration change or a different way of delivering the application.

What we check before recommending a device

  • Compatibility with the applications your team uses and with your existing systems.
  • Memory, storage, connectivity and the features the intended use actually requires, including for demanding applications or AI workloads.
  • Warranty options and the management requirements of your environment.
  • Whether an upgrade, a configuration change or a different way of delivering the application would serve you better than a purchase.

What a purchase doesn’t include automatically

  • Ongoing monitoring, security management and help-desk services: these require an applicable service agreement.
  • A loaner or an immediate replacement under warranty: the manufacturer’s coverage applies according to what was purchased.
  • Erasure or disposal of old equipment: data transfer, storage, secure erasure and disposal work are identified in the scope.

With AI

Some applications and AI features ask more of a device. Our recommendations follow the software’s actual requirements and the intended use.

More on AI for Business
  • Memory, storage and processor features sized for the applications your team uses, including Microsoft 365 Copilot where relevant.

  • A neural processing unit (NPU) or GPU only where the software you run can take advantage of it.

  • Hardware for a self-hosted 3CX AI Server when that deployment option is chosen, sized for the expected call volume.

What the quote includes

Frequently asked questions

Can we buy equipment without a managed IT agreement?

Yes. Procurement and deployment can be a separate mandate. Ongoing monitoring, security management and help-desk services require an applicable service agreement.

Which brands do you supply?

We commonly work with Dell, Lenovo and HP business computer ranges. Other equipment depends on the category, requirements and availability. The quote identifies the proposed models and warranty options.

Can you advise us without replacing everything?

Yes. We can review the existing equipment and recommend a targeted replacement or improvement based on its condition, compatibility and intended use.

Can you transfer data and prepare the new devices?

Yes, when included in the quote. We identify the data, applications, account access and configuration involved so the work is planned before deployment.

Do you install equipment on site?

We provide on-site services in the Laurentides, Lanaudière, Laval and Montréal areas. Installation requirements, scheduling and travel are defined for the project.

Who handles the warranty?

The manufacturer’s warranty applies according to the purchased coverage. Evolute can assist with the process within the agreed scope. A warranty does not automatically include a loaner or an immediate replacement.

What happens to our old equipment?

We agree on the next step before removing or transferring it. Data transfer, storage, secure erasure and disposal work must be identified in the scope, including any record of erasure required.

Are delivery dates guaranteed?

We provide availability and expected delivery information with the quote. Supplier availability can change; timing is confirmed as the purchase and deployment are coordinated.

What will the quote include?

The proposed equipment and applicable licences, plus the agreed preparation, transfer and installation services. Recurring services and optional items are identified separately.
